Replacing Wrigley Field?!

After having watched the execrable demolition of Seattle's not-so-beloved Kingdome back in 1999, I'm not sure I can take this.

Don't panic; it's still in the earliest planning stages, if you can even call it that, but I'm readying my howls of outrage in advance. You can never be too prepared. (Need a login/pw?)

I've been suffering the rumors and threats of losing Fenway Park for a few years now. The howls of outrage have (fortunately) been so great that plans were changed from 'demolition' to 'museum preservation', but still. It just ain't baseball when you have to watch the game with binoculars.
