The Tantrum Tamer
This is what's wrong with society today.
And on a different note, we are moving to the Big(ger) City as of tomorrow, so I will be offline for a few days until our DSL gets turned on. Don't have too much fun without me!

It's already bad enough that today's parents often dump their kids in front of TVs, distract them with Playstations, and distract them with DVDs on road trips. Are imagination, self-entertainment and personal education slowly becoming extinct?
Our local supermarket has several shopping carts in the approximate shape of a Volkswagen Bug, with the basket itself attached to the top and rear. These have proven to be so popular with kids that parents often have to schedule their shopping trips around a time when a cart will most likely be available. This at least offers hope that childish imaginations will never be stifled by technology.
Good luck with the move, Jan!

I favor tear gas, followed by powerful sedatives.

But then, who would keep an eye on the kids while the parents were sedated? :)

Both are for the children. The parents can sedate themselves later.

I agree with BIL, and probably for the same reasons. If you feel differently, I challenge you to spend a week at Ed's house.

Ok off topic.
Have a story, where do I send it?
Thanks
