Veteran of Great War will be missed

I recall reading about Civil War widows dying off in the '60's so I did a search and, to my utter shock, found that the last Cicl war Widow died last year! This means that the last WWI widow will die 50 yrs from now. I won't be seeing that headline.

Grade 1 teacher recants no-Santa claim

Our seven year old, Sam, just walked by, read the headline and said "Santa is a big, fat, dumb myth. He doesn't exist. Case closed."

XBox 360 (desperately) wanted

We're back after a brief access-downtime thanks to a botched server move over the weekend. Our first post of the day is reminiscent of the 1980s Cabbage Patch and Transformers craze that had parents going so far as to fly from the US to London to find just one, any one, Cabbage Patch doll.. except these two girls apparently were willling to go even further.
