Man sues chatroom pals: I was humiliated beyond what 'no man could endure'

I've been online a long time, over 15 years now, and back in the beginning there weren't really a lot of places to chat. Now there are as many chat sites asthere are grains of sands in the state of Virginia. So my advice to this poor sap is to move on. Find another site, and, while you are at it, cut down on the drama.

On the use of eminent domain

This same kind of controversy is stirring up a lot of emotions in my part of the US. By whose definition is something considered a 'blight'? And if it's such a 'blight', why not put the money to use fixing up the area instead of erecting yet another shopping plaza? Is compassion going the way of the dodo bird?

A guy I've been scratching my head about for a few decades now. I'm tempted to say that this explains a lot, but I still think he should sue!

Throw out those cough drops

I knew about those cough drops for years; I'd just give my kids hard candies to suck on to soothe the coughing reflex if it got too bad. But the bit about adult whooping cough vaccinations is news to me.

Mouse sets house on fire

This guy has two strikes against him: Not only did he try to toast a live mouse, he was burning leaves during a time when unseasonably dry and windy conditions are causing a heightened fire danger. !Smart.
