Blizzard could bring a foot of snow

Yesterday we had a "100% chance of snow" in tthe forecast for today. Not 90%, not 95 or 99%, but 100%. And, of course, it never snowed one flake. Which leads me to think that in forecasts over 12 hours away, the words "100%" should not be used.

12½ minutes of peace is all you get if you have children in car
What are they, crazy? 12 and 1/2 minutes? More like 12 and half seconds! Just this morning I shoo'ed them out the door, ducked back in to grab something and when I walked out the door I could see the 9 year old in the middle row trading punches with the 7 year old in the back. What was the fight about? Neither of them really knew!

Say it ain't so, Gretz
I've been pissed at Canada's Golden Boy since the last Olympics when he was the CEO of the Canadian Olympic team and took them to the Gold, whining all the way. So it was intriguing for me to hear him initially deny any knowledge of his wife's gambling. Turns out his wife bet up to half a mill in six weeks and The Great One talked about it on a phone which the cops were tapping. Look for him to step down soon.
