Actor Don Knotts Dead At 81
Obit says his only serious role was a short one in a soap. Hard to imagine, eh? He leaves behind one of the great roles in TVland.

Hey,at least our hockey women won
Don't tell me things Up North are this bad? "At least our women won" ??? Hey, folks...women's hockey is a joke. A decent high school boys team would crush any women's team. There's no checking. There's no hitting. It's not really hockey, but enjoy your gold, Canada!

Low-salt diet may be harmful
Following in the heels of the recent news that low-fat diets aren't benefical comes the news that low-sodium diets can do more harm than good. How about if the medical researchers just band together and say, "Everything in moderation, folks"? Think of all the research dollars that'd be saved!
